Worsted wool tape was used extensively in the 18th century. It could be found on petticoat & gown hems, wallets, jackets, Regimental coats, Native American garments, bed hangings and slipcovers. Hats were bound in it and garments closed with it. Our laces are 100% worsted wool and will hold up well for clothing or home furnishings.
