Men's Caps were an 18th century accessory owned by men of all socioeconomic levels. Used to protect the hair, it was worn in work and leisure. Our cap is a simple one which is easy to construct even for a beginner. Use it for your 18th century persona or have fun and wear it for modern wear!
- Fabric: 1/2 yard of plain linen, light or medium weight.
- Needles: Size 10 sharps are perfect for this type of sewing
- Thread: linen thread to match your fabric. We suggest 60/3 or 80/3.
- Ribbon: 1 yd. of 1/2" wide.
