Shipping policy
Thank you for your Business!
Orders typically ship in 1 - 2 business days Monday thru Friday. If your order was placed after 9am Eastern time it is usually fulfilled and shipped the following business day. UPS orders are picked up every Tuesday and Friday.
We ship USPS & UPS within the United States. International orders have a choice of UPS, USPS, and Flat Export. We do not ship using FedEx, despite what our shipping software might say. If you select FedEx International, we'll ship using UPS. PLEASE NOTE: USPS Priority Mail and UPS are the only options which include full tracking of your package.
Optional Insurance
- You have the option to purchase shipping insurance at checkout to secure your package against loss or damage. Not all shippers guarantee delivery so we highly recommend purchasing insurance to cover your order.
- If your package is lost or damaged we cannot guarantee a replacement if you have not purchased shipping insurance.
- If you insure your package, you will receive an email with your insurance information in case a claim needs to be filed. Use this information to file your claim with the insurer within 90 days from the date the package was shipped. Once the claim is processed, you will be reimbursed for your purchase from the insurance company.
Domestic US Orders
- Your real time shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
- Your tracking information will be sent when we ship so you can follow your order.
- If you receive a "We do not ship to your state" message, this is a USPS issue. They have been struggling to keep up with the online volume and our real time shipping program sometimes times out of the system. If this message comes up, try logging out of your account and logging back in. You can also wait and try again in 10 to 15 minutes. If that does not solve the problem, please contact us at 757-253-1644. We apologize for the inconvenience.
International Orders
We are no longer able to ship to the European Union or Northern Ireland due to the prohibitive burden that the GPSR causes small businesses like ours. Please see the listing for German orders below for a possible third-party shipping service.

UK Orders: Due to UK VAT related requirements we are only accepting orders that exceed £138/$200 USD before shipping. These orders must be placed directly with us and not through the website. To place an order please follow these steps:
- Include :
- Your Name
- Product Name
- Product SKU
- Number of item or yards you want.

- After we receive your email order we will send you an invoice that includes shipping, but does not include customs duties and taxes. You, the Customer, are responsible for all duties and taxes that may be imposed by your country. We cannot mark your package as a "gift".
- Your items will ship after your invoice is paid in full and your tracking information will be sent so you can follow your order.

Germany orders: Shipments have been suspended until we can determine a feasible way for us to be in compliance with the German Packaging Act. While registering with the state is free, obtaining a recycling contract can be quite pricey (especially for a small company like ours.)
- We have been given this information by a German customer that may be helpful: I am using a service called MY US (myUS.com). One registers and has several service options. I am using the most basic, which costs $7 per month. You receive an address in the US (Florida) where your package is delivered. myUS lets you track your package via an app, and you can consolidate several packages into one shipment. They also offer an ordering service for websites that do not accept international credit cards.
Once your package is in your suite, you will get a notification. You have to supply the invoices of what you have ordered, and myUS will fill out the necessary documents, and let you choose several shipping options, including one where you pre-pay all tariffs and duties, and the package comes a bit faster, since all the processes in Germany are already done.

All Other International Orders Including Canada, and Australia:
- Your real time shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Orders not shipped with UPS may take +22 days of calculation.
- Shipping charges do not include customs duties and taxes. When you select your method of shipping during check out, your estimated taxes and duties will be shown. You, the Customer, are responsible for all duties and taxes that may be imposed by your country and will be charged upon delivery of the goods by the carrier. We cannot mark your package as a "gift".
- Your tracking information will be sent when we ship so you can follow your order. We highly recommend choosing UPS Worldwide or USPS First Class International (only UPS offers end to end tracking), since the less expensive carriers can take several weeks to several months to deliver your package, and offer extremely limited tracking information.

Local Pickup
- While we are an online store, if you are in the area and wish to pick up an order, you can do so by selecting customer pick up at check out.
- Orders are filled in the order they are placed and local pickup can take 2-4 days to be fulfilled.
- Pickup is available only between 10 am to 4 pm, M-F.
- Please call us at 757-253-1644 from the parking lot and we will bring your order to your vehicle.
- If you are unable to pick up within 5 business days, your order will be cancelled and your payment refunded.
- If you have chosen local pick up but wish to have your order shipped instead, in order to keep taxes correct in our system, we must cancel the order and then you may either re-order with shipping or we will issue you an invoice to pay.
