The jackets in this JP Ryan Late 18th Century Jackets Pattern have a common bodice shape with similar sleeves, and differing shapes and styles of skirts/peplums. This original design incorporates elements from various extant garments. This pattern is designed to be worn over 18th Century-style stays and will not fit properly without them. Several of the extant jackets have matching petticoats.
