Introducing our newest B&T Digital Pattern - MITTS! In the 18th and early 19th century women of all backgrounds wore mitts for a variety for reasons including to keep warm, protect their arms from the sun, and as a fashionable accessory. Mitts could be made in a range of qualities of silk, cotton, linen or wool. They could be made up plain but could also have simple or complex embroidered motifs.
  • Based on extensive research, our pattern provides you with multi-sizes (XS to XL), four tip variations, assembly based on textile, two embroidery patterns and the option of lined or unlined.
  • Suggested fabrics include light weight silk, light to medium weight cotton or linen to medium weight worsted wool.
  • This pattern is a digital download and includes 22 page full color and fully illustrated instruction manual. Printed in Letter, A4 or Print Shop formats.
