Black Camel Hair Wool Coating
The word coating is a general term for any heavy woolen cloth typically used for an outer garment for protection from the weather. Although we have not seen this particular weave in the 18th century, we feel it would be an excellent choice for any time traveling or modern make.
Camel hair wool, made from the thick, soft undercoat of the Bactrain camel. It has high tensile strength, is lighter, softer, more moisture absorbent, and warmer than sheep's wool. This fiber has been used for millennia, but became popular in Western fashion beginning in the 1700's.
