Geometric and organic shapes are the hallmark of the Art Deco period. Barron & Larcher who ran a studio in Hamstead UK were part of a small movement of designers who took these shapes and interpreted them using traditional artisan methods such as block printing and hand dying. These designs printed on the finest textiles were highly desirable to the Fashion and Interior design industry.  Our scarf takes its inspiration from this movement with its bold shapes and color.  This color combination of terra cotta, black & teal was popular during the Art Nouveau period and continued to be popular during the Art Deco period.
  • This hand block is printed on fine cotton mull with a hand rolled hem measuring approximately 34 inches square.
  • Bright & sassy this scarf will stand out wherever you go!
