Prior to modern day, stockings were knitted on a flat frame and then sewn together to create a back seam. Our Seamed Lightweight Cotton Stockings have a woven “seam” to simulate that seam found in original stockings.
Due to a little miscommunication with our supplier, we received these stockings instead of a different style, but the colors are so gorgeous that we decided to keep them!
