50/3 Linen Thread - Large Spool
Sarah Pitt advertises in the Virginia Gazette in October of 1768 that she offers for sale "a great assortment of threads". Preceding cotton thread, linen thread was used on linen as well as wools and blends. It came in a variety of weights to suit the project.
